Saturday Sparks Link Party 129

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 129!

Sorry for the late start to todays party, but time seems to have gotten away from me.

Summer is winding down for us here in New Hampshire. Our days of late find us basking in the few remaining days of warm air and bright sun filled skies and savoring the final summer harvests.

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
~ Dr. Seuss

Now, lets get this weeks party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 128.

Adventures in Tanzania at Little Miss Dexterous. Tara takes us along her Tanzanian trip with a slideshow of some amazing wildlife and breathtaking scenery.

One Kings Lane Knock Off Table at Savvy Apron. Sherry transformed a thrift store find into a One Kings Lane inspiration piece.

The Fab Furniture Flipping' Contest - Icing on the Cake at From Evija with Love. Evija shares her furniture contest entry piece. She took an old dressing table and brought it back to life with some paint and new hardware.

Ironing Board Cabinet DIY at Scavenger Chic. In a previous post, Joan shared how to make an ironing board cabinet. In this post, she shows us how to convert any picture to use as the front door of the cabinet.

Antique Mirror Makeover at CD's Country Living. CD painted and distressed an old mirror that brought out it's natural beauty and it now rests happily on her fireplace.

Pair of End Tables - Before and After at Clockwork Interiors. Cynthia shows us some refreshed garage sale end tables she worked her magic on.

DIY Arrows at Mod Megs. Arrows are all the rage in home decor right now and Meg shares her frugal solution to creating her own.

Industrial Bathroom Shelf at Backwoods Babies. Sarah's husband needed a shelf in the bathroom to store his things and came up with this industrial shelf assembly. I am loving the pipe towel bar addition - so cool!

Barn Door Hardware at Aurora Patina. Kris was the lucky recipient of this fabulous old barn door hardware with some old wood to go along with it and promises a future post to show us what it will become.

Why We Stopped Buying Toys at The Practical Mom. Swapna shares why she does not buy manufactured toys and finds simple everyday objects that are every bit as entertaining and engaging.

Copycat Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade at Urban Girl Bakes. Leanne found herself taking weekly trips to Chic-fil-A for their Frosted Lemonade. In this post, she shares how to recreate this yummy drink at home.

Cocoa Infused Enchilada Sauce at Pinch of Nutmeg. Meg took the plunge and made her own homemade version of Enchilada Sauce with a special twist.

Peanut Butter Cheesecake at Olives-n-Okra. Sherry's found the perfect excuse to make this decadent treat that she had been craving.

Golden Raisin Scones at Honey and Birch. Jenny shares a delicious recipe for 'Golden Raisin Scones' that she says are even better smeared with apple butter.
