Saturday Sparks Link Party 386

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 386!

Starting off todays party with a favorite summer treat.

Açaí Bowl at Pieced Pastimes, acai bowl at pieced pastimes

My daughter first told me about these delicious bowls, sold at our favorite ice cream shop.

The problem was that the ice cream place is over an hour away, so I had to get creative and come up with my own version to conquer those occasional cravings.

These really hit the spot on the dog days of summer.

Açaí (pronounced ah-sah-ee) Bowl

2 cups frozen berries
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp açaí powder
2 cups spinach
1 frozen banana

Combine everything in a high speed blender. Top with granola, fresh berries, banana, goji berries and a drizzle of peanut butter.
