Saturday Sparks Link Party 331

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 331!

Starting off todays party with some thoughts on plant based eating.

There are many reasons people follow a plant based diet. Mine is for the sake of the animals.

Good health and creating a better environment are some nice bonuses as well.

When I first changed things up to this diet lifestyle, I assumed that deprivation would be the new normal.

Instead, the opposite occurred. My plates are filled with a diverse mix of foods.

I can find, create or adapt a recipe for just about anything, such as this Vegan Cheese Sauce that I used to make Mac'n Cheese.

Have you discovered the power of plants yet?

"Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chance for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."

~ Albert Einstein

  1. Thanks so much for hosting each week! I hope you have a great weekend!!

  2. Your features are ALWAYS enticing, and I think I could easily live on a plant-based diet, especially with many of the recipes you share. Still adjusting to living with less in a loft, but having booth spaces in an antique mall was/is an ideal venue to purge some of my vintage items in the process. Have a great weekend, Suzanne.

    1. I agree that the features are always wonderful as I have some very talented readers! Sounds like you have the best of both worlds with your new 'less is more' loft and the booth space to capture the overflow. Enjoy!

  3. Thank you, Suzanne, for hosting this awesome party! There are so many fun things to look at today! A huge thank you for featuring my DIY Easy Barrel Train! I really do appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. Thank you for featuring my sauteed zucchini. Thanks for hosting! This week I am bringing more goodness from the garden. Tuna Salad in a Cantaloupe Bowl with cottage cheese and pineapple kicks off the list. Then a cucumber, tomato and red onion salad for a lite summer lunch. To round off the menu is a simple but delicious Cucumber and Onion side dish! Enjoy!

  5. Thanks so much for featuring my Watermelon Cake. I just love seeing all of the other great features and link ups. Always a great party!!

  6. Thank you so much for hosting the party.
    I LOVE the features!!!
    Have a great weekend,

  7. Suzanne, I would love to switch to a plant based diet but I've held off because it seems overwhelming to learn how to cook on this diet. I much prefer getting protein from beans, legumes, and quinoa. I just need to take the time to find good recipes. Thank you so much for featuring my dollhouse this week. Have a wonderful weekend! xo

  8. Thanks so much for hosting! I’m linking up with Grandbabies or Grandchildren – What Do You Call Yours? I'd like to invite you to enter my Canvas Factory Giveaway (enter daily, ends July 30). And I’d like to invite you over to my UNLIMITED Monthly Link Party 2 (open for 25 days, come and link up with us, ends July 26).

  9. Wow, thanks for the feature! :)

  10. Thank you for hosting! I am new to your party! This week I am linking up 10 AMAZING SEASHELL CRAFTS and 4 WAYS TO CLEAN YOUR SHELLS and a GATHERING OF FRIENDS LINK PARTY 2
