Saturday Sparks Link Party 395

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 395!

Starting off today's party with a self imposed challenge.

Green Smoothie Challenge

I was inspired by Reese Witherspoon's sharing of this green smoothie that she has been drinking daily for the last 8 or 9 years.

I decided to try it myself for a mini seven day challenge.

I have to admit that the first morning it was a bit like drinking a salad, but with each passing day it grew on me.

After a few days, I started craving it and by the last day I was officially hooked.

I can't say I'll drink this for the next 8 or 9 years, but I think I will keep at it for a while longer.

Healthy habits are always a good thing!

"Autumn leaves don't fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this their only chance to soar."

~ Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing

    1. Thanks Cindy! I have been a long time fan of green smoothies, but this one has a lot of romaine lettuce. I think that is what seemed a bit off at first, but I am now on board with it. Happy fall, Suzanne.
