Saturday Sparks Link Party 396

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 396!

Starting off today's party with an 'on cue' guest.

Grazing Deer by the 29 Ford Pickup at Pieced Pastimes

I was working on the party this morning and wondered what I would share with you.

Just as the thought entered my mind, this sweet deer appeared, as if to say:

"Alright, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up."

~ Norma Desmond, Sunset Boulevard

It was a much needed and much appreciated blessing for my soul!

Now, let's get this party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 395.

  3. Thanks for hosting! I have mixed emotions seeing deer. On the one hand I'm delighted my suburban yard attracts all types of wildlife. On the other, the deer ate all of my flowers that were not behind a fence (:

    1. It is a catch 22 for sure, Sandra. They do have an appetite for all things that bloom. We were careful to plant deer resistant shrubs in our yard and that has worked for us. Hope they behave for you in the future. Take care, Suzanne.

  6. Suzanne, that's a great shot in your yard! Lori's tables are consistently beautiful, and those altered art bottles Anita made are too cool! Have a wonderful weekend. Ours is going to be chilly! Perfect fall weather, though - sunny!
