Saturday Sparks Link Party 595

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 595!

Starting off today's party with a yearly transition!

About this time each year, I gather pine branches to create some winter decor.

This year I was happy to find a wonkily shaped scotch pine, perfect to forage my greens.

A few snips here, a few tucks there and our porch is ready to welcome the upcoming season.

"I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape. Something waits beneath it; the whole story doesn't show."

~ Andrew Wyeth

  4. I love the words of Andrew Wyeth, and your porch decor mirrors those words well. There is a quiet beauty in late fall, early winter. These features are all nice. That matte finish on that chest of drawers is really pretty, and that almond bundt with orange zest sounds delish. Happy December, Suzanne.
