An unexpected spring snowstorm blanketed us with 2 feet of the white stuff this week.
I snapped this picture mid-storm.
No power since Wednesday night and no prospects of any until maybe Sunday night.
Thankfully, our generator is dutifully picking up the slack.
Such is life in New Hampshire.

Oh my Suzanne, two feet of snow! Hopefully your power will come back on soon, wonderful that you have a generator. I hope you are recovering well from your broken hip. Take care of yourself and thanks for hosting in the midst of all you have going on!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Pam! Luckily for us, the forecast is showing warmer days ahead, so this snow shouldn't be around long. I am still doing well with my recovery, but will be glad to get back to normal. Have a wonderful week, my friend ~ Suzanne.

DeleteThat is a lot of snow, Suzanne. Haven't seen that much since we left the Chicago area for more southern climates. Hope that it's the last one for you and that your power and Sprig come soon. Thanks for the feature for "Around the Garden". It's always a pleasure to visit your blog.

DeleteSuzanne, I'm so sorry for your late snow and loss of power. Your snows are always beautiful but I remember the late snows of my childhood in Ohio, and aside from the possible day off of school, they were just not what we wanted to see. This being said, I feel rather bad linking up a Spring Outdoor table, but I hope it brings you hope that Spring will arrive in New Hampshire too an hopefully soon! - Patty

DeleteOh my lands, Suzanne! Two feet?? Well, I guess you won't be having PT outside of walking through the house! We had a derecho this past week, with a few tornadoes touching down along the way on Tues, and were without power until Thursday late. Thankfully no damage for us other than clearing out the fridge and freezer. We don't have a generator and were fine other than the loss of foodstuffs. Another night and we would've likely gone to a hotel.

Yes, two feet Rita! Even by NH standards, that's a lot all at once, especially this time of year. Luckily, things have warmed up and the snow is melting fast. Sorry to hear about your windy weather, but glad to hear you had no damage. Our power came back on yesterday afternoon. Having no power is always a challenge, but it's a quick reminder as to just how much we depend on it. Sending you all the spring vibes ~ Suzanne.
