Welcome to Saturday Sparks 703!
Starting off today's party with a sweet surprise!
This flock of turkeys rolled through the other day, after a long winter without them.
They cut through the back field and disappeared into the woods.
I can't blame them for not lingering as the wind was howling and the air was bitterly cold.
Stay warm, my friends.

Wow! What a beautiful photo with a flock of turkeys.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elsa! It's always fun to capture on film the wildlife that visit us. All my best ~ Suzanne.
DeleteLove the opening image of the turkeys in the snow! We see turkeys almost daily, but never in snow. Thank you for hosting and for featuring my Thirteen Valentine’s Tablescapes & Centerpieces! Stay warm, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam! Our turkeys are normally here all winter, save for this winter, so it was a nice surprise to see them that day. Happy to feature your lovey Valentine's Tablescapes. Have a beautiful week, my friend ~ Suzanne.
DeleteWhile we have quite a few wild turkeys in East Texas, I have never notice a line of them walking. That is wonderful. I really like that Winter White Tablescape, very nice! Thanks so much for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHappy to host, Melynda! For some reason, our wild turkeys play follow the leader quite often. Many smiles ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThanks so much for featuring my winter table! Such a nice surprise! Stay safe in this upcoming storm...Here in NJ we're supposed to get 12-18 inches of snow! Insane! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteShelley
Happy to feature you, Shelley! Per usual, your lovely home shines through in your post. It is crazy that the impending snow and frigid temperatures are covering such a wide area of the country. It's just another winter day for us. Stay warm ~ Suzanne.
DeleteYou have such an exciting and beautiful back yard!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Moois van mie! Our window into the wild keeps us busy, that's for sure. All my best ~ Suzanne.
DeleteYour photo of the turkeys parade reminds me of similar visits to our neighborhood (we live next to a nature preserve). I love the way you captured them on a snowy day! Yesterday the temps dropped to -19 below with windchills near -50 and I couldn't help but think about all our wild life and how they are coping! Thanks so much for the party, Suzanne! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! How nice it must be to live next to a nature preserve! I, too worry for the wildlife in this extreme cold. Have a great week ~ Suzanne.
DeleteYou have such wonderful wildlife companions, Suzanne. So lovely to wake up each morning to vistas of beautiful countryside. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLynne, Thrifting Wonderland
