Its So Very Cheri has and will continue to visit every entry-I try to leave comments but this party has had so many entries and in order to get to everyone I had to change things around. I will come by to make sure you have the Linky Follower tool and follow you. I can’t leave messages for everyone.

I plan on HOPPING from BLOG to BLOG to follow everyone who follows me.

You will see this button in your list of followers.

Ruffled Dropcloth Wreath

I have had enough of winter and was in the mood for a new wreath. Using things I had on hand and some inspiration from Pinterest, this is what I ended up with:  My 'Ruffled Dropcloth Wreath'.
My inspiration came from Jones Design Company. They have a beautiful 'Spring Wreath' with a tutorial at this link. I love their wreath with it's perfectly placed birds nest laying on a bed of moss and surrounded by gorgeous linen ruffles.
For my version, I chose to use Dropcloth fabric for the Ruffles and a trio of Burlap and Painters Cloth Rosettes in place of the nest. If you are unsure how to make rosettes, Freckled Laundry has a wonderful video tutorial.
The course nature of the Burlap and the nubby imperfections of the Dropcloth fabric are a texture combination I never seem to tire of!
For a bit of 'natural bling' - I added a few sprigs of Juniper and some simple twigs.
The rock backdrop for my wreath is our well used fieldstone fireplace. I am currently working on a simple 'Spring Mantel' and will post about that in the coming days.
