Saturday Sparks Link Party 275

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 275!

Our saga of unexpected guests continues.

This week, a gathering of turtles have taken center stage.

Darling hubby has been working a section of field; regrading, loaming and getting it ready for seed.

The snappers decided that this freshly turned soil is the perfect nesting space.

And so, an ongoing game of  'let's move the turtle' is being played out.

Such is life in the country.

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

~ Albert Einstein

  1. We live in the country too, and have come up upon quite a few turtles laying eggs in our front yard. The biggest annoyance right now are the raccoons eating at my bird feeders! Thanks for hosting the party. Enjoy your weekend. Hopefully you won't have to spend it moving turtles!

  3. We live in the country as well and a snapping turtle bit my dog in the nose a couple years ago! Needless to say, she doesn't go near them anymore! Thanks for hosting and enjoy your weekend!

    1. Poor guy! The snappers can be quite aggressive if they are bothered. Have a great weekend.

  5. It must bee so lovely living in the country, I enjoy the glimpses you provide every week. I hope you'll "visit" two My Fav Things Parties I hosted last weekend, and a year ago, with Alice in Wonderland and Breakfast at Tiffany's themes. Little fantasy trips I do annually as a gift to my family and friends to let them know how much they mean to me.
