A Modified Mystery Quilt

This quilt is a recent finish of mine. It's always nice to complete a project as it gives you permission to start something new. 😊

The pattern is from an online mystery quilt challenge hosted by the National Quilters Circle. It's called 'Ice Crystals' and was designed by the talented Toby Lischko.

It was a 6 week challenge with the final quilt revealed at the end.

Unfortunately, the final layout wasn't really 'my style'. With that in mind, I veered off the path and came up with a different design for the paper pieced blocks.

As in life, we each see things with a different eye.

There is no right or wrong way - just our own unique style.

The world would be awful boring if we all did everything the same, don't you think!
