Blogging - Who'd have thought!

As my profile says, I live in the beautiful state of New Hampshire with my husband, our five children, our ever faithful Maltese 'Delila' and 2 angora bunnies named 'Hershey' and 'Sweetie Pie'. I have a love for quilting, antiques and primitive decorating.

I have been reading such wonderful blogs out there that I feel guilty for not giving something back, so I have decided to start my own blog. Also, I must confess to one selfish reason for starting this blog. I am hoping it will inspire me to finish my long list of creative projects that I have started and begin the many new projects that are dancing in my head each night.

The following pictures are a few quilt tops that I have pieced and/or appliqued and they are now waiting to be quilted. I really need to get these done!

This design is called 'Feathered Star' by Kim Diehl and is in her book entitled 'Simple Traditions'.

This design is called 'Harvest Moon' by Barb Adams and Alma Allen and is in their book entitled Small Favorites for all Seasons.

This pattern is called 'Night Sky' by Glad Creations.

And this last photo is a signature quilt I designed for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, which was last July - so I really need to get this one quilted!

This is all I have to say today - it feels like I've been to the confessional booth - let's just hope that it will get my creative juices flowing! Print Friendly and PDF

  2. Welcome to Blogland! I will warn you, it has sone hidding cost associated with this hobby. Yes, it is a hobby and quite addictive. As you hop from blog to blog you'll find patterns & books you must have! lol Hence, more projects needing finishing! lol But it's okay, life is here for us to enjoy. You are working or have completed some beautiful quilts. The Kim Diehl one is on my list of To Do! Your harvest Moon is similar to my Midnight Silhouette. Love Black Bird Designs. Thank you for stopping by my little corner of cybespace. May I suggest that you attach an e-mail to your profile. Many of us love to respond to comments. Enjoy blogging!
