2014 Favorites from Saturday Sparks - Recipe Edition

We all love delicious foods and lucky for all of us, there were some really awesome recipes shared at Saturday Sparks in 2014. Whether you were looking for something sweet or something savory, there was always a recipe to fit the bill.
Below are some favorites from throughout the year, but be forewarned that you may develop an uncontrollable appetite after seeing these tempting creations.


Healthy Turkey Meatball Subs at Simply Fresh Dinners. Robyn always makes the most amazing dishes. Using the freshest ingredients seems to be the key to her success such as in this recipe for 'Healthy Turkey Meatball Subs'.


The Best Way to Reheat Pasta Ever at What Rose Knows. Leftover pasta is usually reheated in the microwave but Rose has a far better way. In fact, she prefers leftover pasta to fresh because of this method.


Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza at Upstate Ramblings. Anne likes to change up the toppings on her homemade pizzas, such as this 'Chicken Bacon Ranch' version that proved to be a winner with the family.


Green Goddess Pasta Salad at Robyn's View. Robyn loves the versatility of pasta and shares a tasty pasta salad recipe that she describes as cool and creamy.


Zucchini Fritters at Southern Distinctions. Brandyn shared a quick and easy recipe for 'Zucchini Fritters' that makes a delicious side dish for any meal.


Creamy Tomato Basil Soup with Popcorn Croutons at Hello Little Home. Ginnie shares one of her favorite soup recipes and changes it up a bit with a seasoned popcorn topper.


Crispy Quinoa Patties with Dill Greek Yogurt Dip at Natural Chow. Margaret Anne shares her recipe for these Quinoa Patties that she describes as a 'bite of heaven'.


Lobster Avocado Sandwich with Garlic at Spaceships and Laser Beams. Stephanie showed us how to enjoy lobster without breaking the bank with these tasty sandwiches.


Peanut Butter Pork Tenderloin at The Pin Junkie. Bonnie gave a pork tenderloin recipe a try and shares her positive results in this post. She says it turned out delicious and she will be making it again with one small change.



Raspberry White Chocolate Pound Cake at Kleinworth & Co. - Gina never fails to impress. Her recipes are a feast for the eyes and taste buds such as this scrumptious pound cake recipe she shared.


The Best Homemade Cafe Frappe Recipe at Roxy's Kitchen. Roxy is not a fan of coffee, but it's a different story when it comes to frappe's. In this post, she shares a quick and easy recipe for the delicous iced coffee drink.


Mango Pie at The Woks of Life. Sarah shared a little taste of Hawaii with this lovely 'Mango Pie' recipe.


Layered Blondies with Chocolate Ganache at Something Sweet. Winnie is always tempting us with her amazing recipes such as this sweet treat.


Soft Batch Peanut Butter Eggnog Cookies at Sewlicious Home Decor. Marti shares a favorite holiday cookie recipe combining peanut butter and eggnog.  She suggests eating them fresh out of the oven, while still warm and soft.


Simple Peppermint Bark Recipe at Luv a Bargain. Sherri shared a quick and easy candy recipe that is perfect for Christmas or anytime.


Almond Layer Cake with Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting at T-shirt & Jeans. Nicki shared this gorgeous cake that is a truly decadent dessert.


Pecan Pumpkin Bread with Warm Caramel Glaze at My Sweet Mission. Heather tempted our will power with this sweet bread smothered in a buttery caramel glaze.


Almost Sourdough at Yesterfood. Joy always shares the best recipes such as this cheater version of Sourdough Bread. I need to make this.


Pumpkin Pecan Doughnuts with Maple Glaze at About a Mom. A craving for doughnuts found Angela baking a batch of these sweet treats.


Gourmet Caramel Apples at Swanky Recipes. Jessica shares a recipe for Caramel Apples using a variety of delicious toppings. How amazing do these look!

Thanks to everyone who linked up all year long and welcome to our newest party guests. Your recipes are just amazing. As I suspected, my willpower is now completely shot and I need to go find something to eat.

Um, literally! :) Thank you for including my Almost Sourdough Bread- I'm making another batch this weekend- we're expecting colder temps, so heating up the house by baking bread is a win-win! :)
