Welcome to Saturday Sparks 346!
Starting off todays party with a nice surprise from the other day.
I was about to hang clothes on the line when I noticed this beauty standing in our back yard.
It stood there just long enough for me to grab my camera.
We see them quite often, but never this close.
For me, it's their eyes. It seems as though they can see into the soul.
Feeling blessed with our window into the wild.

DeleteThank you so much Suzanne for featuring my Yellow & Gray Harvest Tablescape along with all the other terrific posts you've highlighted! Thank you for hosting every week!
ReplyDeleteYou got a great shot! You must be like us with a lot of wildlife visiting your property - we've had lots of deer and bears this year!
Thanks Lori! Your Harvest Tablescape is lovely, as are all of the other features. It's nice to hear that someone else is enjoying nature as we do!
DeleteWhat a great (and scary) surprise to find in your backyard! Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Brownie Cookies. Hope you enjoy. 🙂
ReplyDeleteThanks CJ Huang! I was inside my back porch when I spotted the coyote, so no fears! We see them occasionally during the day, but usually at a further distance!
DeleteThat coyote has been eating well and doesn't appear scared of you, like it's posing for the photo. LOL Thanks for hosting Suzanne and have a good weekend 🙂
ReplyDeleteI was happy to have him 'pose' for me! 😊 It's always nice to see the wonders of nature here!
DeleteThanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week as well!
DeleteThanks Marilyn! It was actually a nice, healthy looking coyote or perhaps even a coywolf - although, there is some debate as to whether there are any coywolves here in New Hampshire. In my mind, it was just another example of the beauty of nature and I was blessed with it's visit. 😊 Looking forward to seeing your tempting treats!
ReplyDeleteSunday morning, and I never want to leave. ;)
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy lingering over all the posts featured here each week, and updates on your surrounds.
Good morning Rita - Love to hear that you are 'lingering' here. 😊 Enjoy!
DeleteWhat a magnificent creature! No wolves in our area, but we have a healthy population of coyotes that I am happy to see from time to time.
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle - This is a coyote or possibly a coywolf. This one just happens to be very healthy! 😊 No wolves that we know of in our area as well. I love to see all the wildlife here including these guys.
