Saturday Sparks Link Party 405

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 405!

Starting off today's party with the calm after the storm.

Snowy Landscape at Pieced Pastimes

As you can see, it snowed here yesterday.

We got upwards of two feet this time around.

Just west of us, some places got as much as 42" of the white stuff.

It's funny to think that 24" of snow is considered being spared!

"The color of springtime is flowers; the color of winter is in our imagination."

~ Terri Guillemets

Now, let's get this party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 404.

  1. Wow! That storm definitely turned north! Here in NJ, we got about 6-7 inches. My kids were still happy. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful holiday!

    1. I agree Shelley. The predictions seems to be off by quite a bit lately. They had us forecasted for 3-6" - only off by a foot and a half! 😁 Enjoy your snow and Merry Christmas, Suzanne.

  5. My goodness, you have a lot of snow! It is rare to get snow in Mesa, Arizona but it is cold for us here right now as we are dipping to almost freezing weather at night. Thank you for hosting and wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

  9. Your snow is exactly how I love to see it - in a photo! It's really beautiful, but that much can really wreak havoc on roofs & gutters, not to mention hearts! Be safe.
