Welcome to Saturday Sparks 410!
She turned 14 in November and is showing signs of her age.
She is nearly deaf.
Arthritis has settled in and taken hold - some days are better than others.
Gone are the days of jumping on and off the couch or bed.
On top of all of this, she has been sick for the past couple of days.
In the midst of all her struggles, she remains the sweetest thing you could ever ask for.
We find ourselves loving on her a bit more lately.
Now, let's get this party started.
First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 409.
Simple and Cozy Winter Tablescape with Pinecones at Calypso in the Country
4 Red and White DIY Valentine Heart Decorations at Bluesky at Home

Thanks Shelley! We take each day as a gift with our beloved pets, so we'll enjoy her as long as we can. Your tablescape looks great - perfect for a winters meal. All my best, Suzanne.
DeleteSweet Sophie, hope she feels better. Thank you for hosting and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam and so, do I. Peace and blessings, Suzanne.
DeleteThanks for hosting each week. Hope your Saturday was perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank-you! Enjoy your week, Suzanne.
DeleteSophie is a sweet girl. It's so hard to see our pets (and people!) in failing health. Enjoy every sweet moment you can. And I most definitely need that printable of I'm sorry for the things I said when it was winter! Oh boy, spring can't come soon enough. Thank you for hosting us, Suzanne.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rita! Yes, it is difficult to watch the years take their toll on our furry friends as well as our loved ones. None of us can detour the circle of life. Regarding winter, know that the light of spring will be here in due time to wash away the winter blues. Have faith. Your friend, Suzanne.
DeleteAwe Sophie is a cutie. It's so hard to see their health decline as they age, poor thing. Thank you, Suzanne for the heart hanger feature! Wishing you a lovely Sunday with lots of Sophie cuddles. xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie! Thankfully, she is having a better day today. That seems to be the new normal for her - one day good, one day bad. Your heart hanger is such a cute idea. Perfect little touch for Valentine's day. Take care, Suzanne.
DeleteThanks for the party Suzanne. Best wishes for sweet little Sophie. It's so hard when our furry family starts to age and they can't talk to us. Enjoy your time with her she seems like she has a lot of love to give still.
ReplyDeleteXO- MaryJo
Thanks MaryJo! She seems much better today. We'll take things one day at a time and enjoy her while we can. Winter blessings, Suzanne.
DeleteSophie is adorable Suzanne. It is so incredibly hard to watch them age! Praying she stays with you as long as she possibly can. Thanks so much for hosting and I so appreciate you including my winter printables in your features. Enjoy your time with Sophie and know that you've given her all she ever wanted...your love.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting each week!! It is truly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
