2021 Minimalist Modern Farmhouse Christmas Tour

We find ourselves readying for yet another Christmas.

Per my usual MO, our home is dressed enough to reflect the joy of the season, but no so much to overwhelm.

The neutral shades of grays and whites throughout our home make it easy to transition a room with just a few pops of color.

This year, it was black and gold that sung to my heart.

It was surprising to see how many tried and true objects I already had with my chosen colors.

Originallly, I had a different idea for the mantel, but then I found this 'Making Spirits Bright' sign and it served as a springboard for the rest of the room.

I love when one piece creates a domino effect like that.

It makes the task of decking the halls so much easier.

Now that the decorating is done, we can sit back and enjoy all the splendors of the Christmas season.

  1. Suzanne, I love the way you have dressed your home for Christmas. It is simple, but elegant! The black and gold color scheme is perfect with the grays and whites in your home. Wishing you and yours a most wonderful and Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks, Pam! I normally struggle finding the right balance when decorating for Christmas - too much, too little - but, I am really pleased with the end result this year. It feels like I got it just right. Christmas Blessings to you and yours my friend, Suzanne.
