Saturday Sparks Link Party 451

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 451!

Starting off today's party with the solution to a delicate balancing act!

I was on the fence about putting up a tree this year.

I had some alternative ideas floating around in my head, but in the end this pencil tree won the battle.

The slim proportions keep my minimalist side happy while the sparkling lights and gold ornaments honor the Christmas spirit.

"We are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime."

~ Laura Ingalls Wilder

Now, let's get this party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 450.
