Saturday Sparks Link Party 458

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 458!

Starting off today's party with something that carries me through our long winters!

Spotted-laurel at Pieced Pastimes

As much as I love this season, I miss time spent in the garden.

To satisfy this urge, I find myself bringing all manner of plants home.

This crazy plant lady mentality has seen me through many a long, cold winter.

"Plants give us oxygen for the lungs and for the soul."

~ Terri Guillemets

Now, let's get this party started.

  1. It is a little gray here, but the ground has some open spots where the snow has melted, I think today I will remove the pads of straw I have over the rhubarb crowns. Thanks for hosting, and have a wonderful week ahead.

  2. I hear you about needing some growth indoors while buried in snow outdoors. Unfortunately I have a brown thumb so instead I buy fresh flowers as a distraction from the winter. Enjoy your indoor plants have a wonderful weekend, Suzanne.

  6. Suzanne, thanks ever so much for featuring my crochet zebra! Our low today was zero, so I've started a new project. It's the first needlepoint stocking I've tackled in over 25 years! Easier to pickup again than crocheting, but my eyesight isn't what it was when I made the other 4 lol!
