It is a little gray here, but the ground has some open spots where the snow has melted, I think today I will remove the pads of straw I have over the rhubarb crowns. Thanks for hosting, and have a wonderful week ahead.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect way to spend the day, Melynda! Enjoy your time outdoors, Suzanne.
DeleteI hear you about needing some growth indoors while buried in snow outdoors. Unfortunately I have a brown thumb so instead I buy fresh flowers as a distraction from the winter. Enjoy your indoor plants have a wonderful weekend, Suzanne.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I'm in good company with my plant/flower fixation during the winter months, Marie! It's surprising how much they can boost the spirit! Enjoy your blooms, Suzanne.
DeleteThank you so much for featuring my winter living room decorating ideas this week. I'm sharing more ideas this week!
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature you, Paula! Love all your cozy winter touches. Warm wishes, Suzanne.
DeleteHi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for featuring my bird cake! Also thanks for hosting!
Have a great week!
Liz
Bird watching is a favorite pastime of ours Liz, so your 'bird cake' struck a chord with me. Thanks for sharing, Suzanne.
DeleteYes! This is the time of year my houseplants add that warmth we all crave in the middle of winter. I love the quote you used. Have a wonderful week. XO- MaryJo
ReplyDeleteAgreed, MaryJo. Plants really do add that special something to help take the edge off the long, cold winter. Stay warm, Suzanne.
DeleteSuzanne, thanks ever so much for featuring my crochet zebra! Our low today was zero, so I've started a new project. It's the first needlepoint stocking I've tackled in over 25 years! Easier to pickup again than crocheting, but my eyesight isn't what it was when I made the other 4 lol!
ReplyDeleteYour zebra is just the cutest, Debbie! One can't help but smile when you see it. Thanks for sharing, Suzanne.
DeleteThank you for hosting. Indoor plants really help with the dull days of winter. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes they do, Tina, yes they do! Have a great week, Suzanne.
DeleteHappy Saturday. Thank you so much for hosting and featuring my Strawberry Cheesecake Nachos post. Love the Beautiful French Country Laundry Room Makeover post too :)
ReplyDeleteThe nachos look so tempting, Claire. I just may have to veganize the recipe and give it a go. Thanks for sharing, Suzanne.
DeleteThank you for featuring my sweet antique dresser, appreciated as is hosting this party :)
ReplyDeleteThe combination of black and walnut is perfect, as are the new knobs. A job well done! Have a wonderful week, Suzanne.
DeleteSuzanne, stay warm and Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam and to you as well, Suzanne
