Saturday Sparks Link Party 528

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 528!

Starting off today's party with this friendly trio!

We took a drive around Lake Winnipesaukee the other day.

The shoreline is covered with some of the most expensive real estate in New Hampshire.

But, better than that is the healthy deer population.

This group stood their ground as I snapped this picture.

Shortly after seeing them, we jumped a doe with triplets crossing the road.

We've never seen triplets before, so this was a wonderful surprise for us.

I've since read that it's pretty rare, as in 8% rare.

Once again, mother nature never ceases to amaze us!

  1. Suzanne, I love the opening photo of the deer. The buck’s antlers appear to be in velvet, which will soon be gone. Thanks so much for hosting and for featuring my Simple + Southern Sunday. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, my friend!

  6. We have a nephew who is a private chef for a family living in a Lake Winnipesaukee home. It's a beautiful area. We see many mule deer here in the foothills of Colorado and quite a few of the older Does have triplets. I think it has a lot to do with their age.

  8. Great family photo for the leading shot today. 😉 deer are running rampant along our Avenue at dusk and dawn right now. Love the Ikea hack Erica did and explained, the apple corks are darling, and Pam's Swag photo made me think of places in WV. Have a great week, Suzanne. I'm seeing subtle changes of summer to fall, amd I bet you are too.

    1. Thanks, Rita! We love seeing the deer in their natural world. I agree about the features - all great! Our days and nights are starting to get cooler and the air itself has a different vibe. Halloween stuff has already found its way onto store shelves - it seems like they start a little earlier every year. Enjoy these final days of summer ~ Suzanne.
