Welcome to Saturday Sparks 550!
Starting off today's party with a simple midwinter mantel!
We are in full winter mode here in New Hampshire.
The ground is deep with snow and the air is brisk.
We find ourselves staying inside more and appreciating the warmth and ambiance of the pellet stove.
For this, I am thankful.
"We no longer build fireplaces for physical warmth. We build them for the warmth of the soul; we build them to dream by, to hope by, to home by."
First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 549.

Thanks so much for the nod to my appliqué tutorial! I appreciate the love, & thank you for always hosting such a beautiful party!
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature you, Suzan! Your first time appliqué turned out wonderful. I think many of us try new things in the dead of winter. The stillness of the season seems to bring out the creative spirit. All my best ~ Suzanne.
DeleteBeautiful features, thanks so much for hosting.
ReplyDeleteIt is my pleasure to host the party. Winter Blessings ~ Suzanne.
DeleteSuzanne, thank you so much for the feature. Saturday was Mr. P's birthday, and we not only shared a variation of this featured tablescape, but were able to enjoy an unseasonably warm (56°) and sunshiny day. Other than the freeze snap at the end of December, our winter so far has been nearly 180° turn from yours. Spring flowers are emerging!
ReplyDeleteYour Valentine tablescape and the story behind it captured my heart, Rita! We did have a couple of warmer days here as well, but it seems just as a tease. Temperatures are expected to plummet here this week. Such is life in New Hampshire! ❄️ Many smiles ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThank you for featuring my ruby chocolate tart this week!
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature you, Amy! Your 'ruby chocolate tart' looks so tempting. All my best ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThank you so much for hosting!! Hugs- Tanya :) @twelveOeightblog
