Saturday Sparks Link Party 616

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 616!

Starting off todays party with a 'if you build clean it, they will come' moment!

DH has built many birdhouses and placed them about our property.

This particular one rests on my clothesline post, of which I use quite regularly.

Nesting materials had built up and blocked the entrance hole, so DH grabbed his ladder and did a bit of spring cleaning.

Within a day of his clean out, the tree swallows moved in to begin their yearly ritual.

For this, I am thankful!

"Just like a bird's nest, nature has a way of creating beauty out of chaos. "

  7. The bird nests reminded me of our then 8 year old grandson building a nesting box and gifted it to Oupa, and then we decided to hang it outside the backdoor not thinking that birds will make use of it and nest. Well they did and it was so neat and our grandson was so thrilled to see the birds nesting and the chicks.
Thanks for hosting, Suzanne, and having me over, sharing with your readers.
    My entries are numbered #36+37.

    1. I am sure your grandson was fascinated by the whole nesting process and he must have been so proud to have been the one who built the box, Slabs! How fun for all of you. We are always finding nests tucked around our property and the speed with which they create them is amazing. Wishing you a lovely week ~ Suzanne.
