Welcome to Saturday Sparks 617!
Starting off todays party with an early morning guest!
I got up early this morning to watch the sunrise, but alas, it was hidden behind a dense wall of fog.
Luckily for me, mother nature had a different plan and I got to watch this lovely creature wander about.
She is a bit disheveled looking as her winter pelage starts to shed, but beautiful none the less.
I was so captivated by her that I didn't think to snap a picture until the last moment before she ran back into the woods, hence the grainy image.
In my mind, being caught up in the moment far outweighs any instagram worthy photo.

ReplyDeleteAnd you as well, Virginia! All my best ~ Suzanne.
DeleteWow, Suzanne the deer in your area have a lot thicker winter coat than here. That certainly makes sense in your colder climate. We had three deer visit one morning this week and their coats are pretty and brown, but will turn gray as the year progresses. Thank you for hosting and for featuring my Simple + Southern Sunday! Happy Mother’s Day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature you, Pam! Yes, we lag behind you for many things including the molting season for our deer. This deer's winter coat will be gone in short order though, as her other side is quite patchy. Enjoy your lovely deer visits and have a wonderful Mother's Day ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThanks again for hosting this wonderful party! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that I truly appreciate it!! I hope you will have a great week! Thanks for all the inspiration!!!
