Hand Embroidered Floral Moon

My journey back into the world of hand embroidery continues with this, my latest project, 'Floral Moon'.

I purchased the design from StitchCraftPDF on Etsy.

It thought it had an early fall feel to it, perfect timing for September.

This piece was a challenge as it was a PDF design with an AI generated image only and had no instructions (as was disclosed).

I had to fend for myself regarding color selection, number of strands and choice of stitches.

After much determination (as in stitching, ripping and re-stitching), I am happy with the finished piece and I learned quite a bit.

More importantly,  the hurried pace of life was lost within each stitch.

    1. Awe, thanks Rita! I did a lot of 'stitching and staring' with this one 😀 and the OCD in me had me restitch several parts, but I am really pleased with the overall finish. Looking forward to starting on the next one. Appreciate your sweet comment, as always ~ Suzanne.

I love how you embraced the challenge of working without instructions and made it your own with careful color choices and stitch work. It’s great to see your creativity and determination shine through in the final piece. Definitely an achievement to be proud of!
