Saturday Sparks Link Party 654

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 654!

Starting off todays party with a little shakeup!

You may have heard about an earthquake in our area the other day.

It was a magnitude 3.8 - not huge, but it did shake the house.

Apparently, it shook DH's church too.

Shook, as in moved it a good 2' from where it was originally.

It's currently sitting on an axle so that it can be moved come spring to its permanent home.

It's no worse for wear and DH was able to move it back into place.

Mother Nature never ceases to surprise.

    1. Thanks, Melynda! We weren't sure where we wanted to put the church and an early snow put DH's plans of moving it around on hold until spring. We may even keep it where it is, as it's kind of grown on us. Time will tell. All my best ~ Suzanne.

  4. Thank you for hosting! I'm so glad your church (& your home) wasn't damaged in the earthquake. DH should be proud that he built something so sturdy!

    1. Thanks, Virginia! Luckily, DH tends to 'overbuild' all of his projects. It worked in his favor for this one. 😊 Wishing you a sun filled week ~ Suzanne.

  6. Goodness, Suzanne! I guess with so much other news and weather this past week, I was not aware of the earthquake in your region! Wow, that's something re: DH's church movement! As much as we try, we are shown time and again we are not in control! Nonetheless, Happy February!

    1. Yes Rita, current events are all over the place lately. I am sure our minor earthquake ranked pretty low on the newsworthy scale. Wishing you a beautiful week, my friend ~ Suzanne.
