Saturday Sparks Link Party 655

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 655!

Starting off todays party with a couple of cool creatures!

We are in a deep freeze here in New Hampshire.

The wildlife have all but disappeared, save for the occasional capture on our driveway camera.

This bobcat and coyote ventured our way this week.

How they survive in this cold is beyond me.

Stay warm, my friends.

  1. Hi Suzanne! Coyotes are plentiful around here, we hear them at night. I have never seen a bobcat, but my hubby and son see them often. It is amazing to view wildlife. Thanks for hosting and wishing you a wonderful weekend, my friend!

    1. Hi Pam! We hear the coyote howling at night quite a bit, too! It's an eerie thing to wake up to. Hope you get a chance to see a bobcat sometime. Hope you have a lovely week, my friend ~ Suzanne.

  2. That Bob Cat is stunning! We have both here in Texas, a local coyote group was hard on our chicken population, but in fairness to them, they are just following instinct. Have a great week ahead, and thanks for hosting.

    1. Thanks, Melynda! Bobcats are real beauties! The coyote do have a bad reputation, but they are just trying to survive like all the other animals ~ the whole circle of life thing. Have a sun filled week ~ Suzanne.

  3. I don't know how the animals survive the cold temps either. It snowed here in Georgia twice this year which is rare for us. It was so cold that I didn't leave the house for 6 days. Now we're getting fooled with a false Spring & have had temps near 80 this week.
    Thank you for hosting!

    1. Thanks, Virginia! Living in the wild certainly has its challenges and on these frigid days, I feel so bad for them. Sounds like you wouldn't be a fan of our New England winters. ❄️❄️❄️ Enjoy your 'false Spring' while you can. All my best ~ Suzanne.
