Welcome to Saturday Sparks 666!
Starting off today's party with a little detour!
We took a drive around the Maine coast the other day.
I have always loved the jagged rocky shores there.
I snapped this photo of the Bush compound in Kennebunkport.
It is known as 'Walker's Point Estate' and is the summer home for President Bush and family.
It's been in their family since 1903.
George H. W. Bush once told reporters "it's where my family comes home, and it's our anchor to windward."
"We know what works. Freedom works. We know what's right. Freedom is right."
~ George H. W. Bush

DeleteHi Suzanne! I love seeing the Maine coastline and the Bush summer home! We have traveled extensively but never been to Maine, Vermont, or New Hampshire. We must visit during autumn. Thanks for hosting, my friend!

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you've visited Maine before, Rita! There is so much to see there. I am torn between the mountains and the coastline, as to which is my favorite. Many smiles ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThat is such a beautiful pic. Very lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patrick! The ocean was especially blue that day. All my best ~ Suzanne.
