Welcome to Saturday Sparks 673!
Starting off today's party with this oh-so sweet pair!
We have been seeing this doe with her newly born fawn from time to time lately.
The baby is still a bit wobbly and tries so hard to keep up with Mama.
They mostly stay tucked along the woods line or deep within, so this photo was a lucky capture.
It's such a blessing to witness these miracles of nature.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Melynda! Sorry that you don't have deer where you are now, The deer leave us each winter and I miss them terribly, but knowing they'll come back keeps me going. Hope you are able to enjoy other wildlife that may frequent your area. All my best ~ Suzanne.

ReplyDeleteYes, they are Laura! Wishing you a wonderful week ~ Suzanne.
DeleteWe had a doe leave her fawn in the middle of our residential, double striped road last week! A gloved neighbor.moved the fawn to the wooded riverbank on the edge of the road, and mama has since kept vigilant watch. She even chased a neighbor's Irish setter walking on the riverbank a couple days afterward!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, thank you for the feature! Happy Summer!
Wow, Rita! Glad to her your kind neighbor took measures to remedy the situation and that the Mama perhaps learned to be a bit more careful. Happy to feature you. Sending you much sunshine, my friend ~ Suzanne.
DeleteHello Suzanne. I love seeing the doe and her fawn. Thanks for hosting and wishing you a lovely weekend, my friend!
