Welcome to Saturday Sparks 682!
Starting off today's party with a yearly shift!
This is the time of year that the deer start coming around more often and in larger groups.
There was a herd of 7 on this particular morning.
Another notable change is that their coats are molting in preparation for the cold months ahead.
It's always a treat to witness this annual practice from our window into the wild.

Happy weekend, Suzanne! Fall is coming and I'm ready for it! Thanks, as always, for hosting us all!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! Yes, Fall is just around the corner. This summer has flown by. Wishing you a great week ~ Suzanne.
DeleteSuzanne, I love your opening shot of the deer! Unfortunately, they have become so over populated in our area, so many are killed on our roads. When we bought our property forty seven years ago, it was a rare sighting to see a deer. They are a common occurrence in our pastures and even up close to our house. But, I still love to see them. Thank you for hosting, my friend. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam. Over population and traffic are never a good combination. We live in a popular hunting area, so that seems to keep things balanced. Hope the deer numbers settle down in your area. Sending you much sunshine, my friend ~ Suzanne.
DeleteIt's always a treat to see your pics on the wildlife.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this party, Suzanne, and happy weekend.

Thanks, Deb! The deer are so active this time of year. My camera will be working overtime. Many smiles ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThe changes in the light patterns and weather are something I love observing as we shift toward fall. Love the features that signal that shift. Happy weekend, Suzanne.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Rita. The seasonal changes do have a way of grabbing our attention. Glad to know you enjoyed the features. Wishing you a beautiful week, my friend ~ Suzanne.
DeleteAww, thank you so much for the feature! On my drive home today, I spotted about ten deer. Over the years, I’ve noticed how much wildlife reflects the health of an environment—where there’s little to no wildlife, it usually isn’t such a healthy place for people either. Anyway, your photos are absolutely beautiful, as always!
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature your 'Baobab Coffee' post, Mariama! Wildlife patterns really do tell a story that deserves our attention. Hope your week is filled with sunshine ~ Suzanne.
