Welcome to Saturday Sparks 733!
Starting off today's party with a fair weather friend!
Fall is in the air as our days are getting cooler and the occasional tree is showing signs of color.
This seasonal shift means that our resident Great Blue Heron will be headed south soon.
Knowing this, I ventured down to the pond to capture one last image of her.
Without fail, there she stood.
Patiently waiting for her next meal.
Safe travels, my friend.

Beautiful capture of the heron, Suzanne! Thanks so much for hosting and wishing you a lovely weekend, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam! I should really give our heron a name as she is such a regular here. I will miss her this winter. Have a beautiful week, my friend ~ Suzanne.
DeleteIt’s amazing to think how far the birds migrate for the winter. Like your blue Herron, the hummingbirds that fly around our feeders migrate as well. I think about those little birds flying so far.
ReplyDeleteYour images are really good. Have you ever enlarged on to hang on a living or family room wall?
Thank you for hosting.
All the best.
Thanks, Debra! The yearly migration really is quite amazing and the hummingbirds especially. Glad to know you enjoy my wildlife shares and yes, I do have some of my photos hanging around our home. Many smiles ~ Suzanne.
Deletece héron est superbe et la photo est une belle capture. Les photos du jardin entretiennent l'illusion d'un été tempéré est encore possible. Un instant j'ai cru à l'illusion du papillon de céramique.
