Saturday Sparks Link Party 68

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 68!
It's always such a treat to visit the links that everyone so graciously shares. There is always something that finds its way into my heart and makes me smile. Last weeks party was a goldmine of ideas and inspiration.
Now, onto the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 67.
Bookcase Refinished and Styled at Seeking Lavender Lane. Deborah found a pair of bookcases on Craigslist and gave them a fresh update with paint, new hardware and some wonderful styling details.

DIY Headboard Tutorial at A Mom's Take. Janel shares a tutorial to recreate this rustic headboard that her husband made. Love the white bedding set against the stained wood.
July Fourth Banner at Artsy Vava. Virginia shows us how to recreate this fun patriotic banner just in time for the upcoming holiday. She also says you can adapt this idea to fit any other special day.
Hand-Dyed Paper Beads-An Upcycle Project at Crafts on Squidoo. KampSeagull was inspired to create this lovely paper bead necklace to showcase the oak leaf pendant she received as a gift. She shares a full tutorial explaining how to make the paper beads up through completing the necklace.
She's A Grand Old Flag at Priscilla's. Priscilla gives her seasonal chalkboard a new look to show off her patriotic pride.
No Sew Swim Suit Cover Up at Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. Jamie shares her no sew idea for a Sarong-style Swim Suit Cover Up that she says takes all of 2 minutes to make.
Spicy Shrimp with Roasted Asparagus and Cherry Tomatoes at Simply Fresh Dinners. Fresh asparagus inspired Robyn to create this savory and tempting dish.
Red White and Blueberry Pie Bars at Kleinworth & Co. - Gina  joined 110 other bloggers in the Ultimate Red, White and Blue Roundup party. Taking her sons suggestion, she adapted one of her most popular recipes into this tempting treat.
Grape and Banana Dolphin Parfait at Roxy's Kitchen. How cute are these! Roxy shares how to make this healthy and delicious parfait. The banana dolphin topper really steals the show!
And finally, a recap of my share from the party - The Final Surrender. In this post, I take a moment to reflect on the gifts that God has blessed us with and the similarities between nature and our own lives.
