So, if you are having a day where chocolate is the one and only answer, give this dish a try. It may not solve world peace, but it will settle your cravings down so you can move onto bigger and better things!
Now, onto the recipe:
Double Chocolate Smoothie Bowl aka Chocolate Craving Buster Bowl
Makes 1 Serving
Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tsp pure maple syrup (optional)
Toppings
- 1/2 fresh banana, sliced
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp shaved coconut
- 1 tbsp dry roasted peanuts
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter (sugar and salt free)
- 1 tbsp vegan chocolate chips
- Add smoothie ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Add ice for a thicker consistency and pour into a bowl. Top smoothie with banana, chia seeds, coconut and peanuts. Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips and drizzle on top of smoothie. Enjoy!
