Saturday Sparks Link Party 367

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 367!

Starting off todays party with some thoughts on the current state of our world. Like all of you, we sit in limbo in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. It's amazing how much has changed in such a short period of time.

The latest urging for social distancing is a difficult, but necessary measure. I choose to think of it as a time to slow things down and recharge.

Call it a 'pick up' moment if you will.

   • Pick up that dusty bible.
   • Pick up the phone and connect with those you love.
   • Pick up a broom and clean out those long ignored nooks and crannies.
   • Pick up an old project and get her done.
   • Pick up that book you've been meaning to read.
   • Pick up your hiking boots and rediscover the beauty of nature.
   • Pick up on all those things that you've lost sight of.

How will you be spending your 'pick up' time?

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
