Solitude - A Small Macramé Wall Hanging

I have been a 'maker' for as long as I can remember.

I've explored many different fiber arts over the years.

Sewing and quilting have been my 'go to' choice, but lately my hands have given into macramé.

Texture and design are two elements that tie all my creative works together and this new pastime is no different.

In fact, it brings the 'texture' aspect to a whole new level.

Bringing touches of nature into our home is high on my priority list, so this gnarled branch seemed to be the perfect support for the knotted rope.

I am having so much fun learning all the possibilities of this new hobby.

  1. It is beautiful. I did an owl in the 70's. Wish I had kept it.
