Welcome to Saturday Sparks 380!
Starting off todays party with a step back in time.
It's coming up on 4 years that we lost our Charlie and he's been on my mind a lot lately.
The other day, my daughter sent me a picture that startled me.
It was a snapshot of a dog that randomly came up to her and my granddaughter at the beach.
It could have been Charlie's twin.
It was probably just a wandering dog at the beach, but I like to think it was something more.
Perhaps it was a sign from above.
Now, let's get this party started.
First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 379.
Summer Decorating with Flowers and Vintage Finds by Follow the Yellow Brick Home

ReplyDeleteCharlie was a cutie! That greenhouse is beautiful. When I first saw it, I thought it was a she-shed.

Hi Michelle - Charlie was a beautiful pom and so much more and yes, I too thought the greenhouse was some sort of a retreat. All the best, Suzanne.
DeleteThat crochet giraffe and the DIY greenhouse both look great, although for very different reasons. :) Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Instant Flour Mix (DIY Bisquick). Hope you enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it was a sign! They really do stay in our hearts forever, don't they? Thanks for hosting and enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteShelley
Hi Shelley - Yes, my memories of him will last a lifetime. He was a family member after all. Take care, Suzanne.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting! I’m linking up today with my Themed Party for Cleaning and Organizing (open June 15-25), won’t you linkup with me?
ReplyDeleteI love that Einstein quote, Suzanne. I've had similar things happen like your daughter's beach experience that made me believe it's a sign too, so I get it. Thank you so much for featuring our outdoor patio space. I'm swooning over that gorgeous greenhouse feature! Have a great weekend 😀
ReplyDeleteHi Marie - It's nice to know I'm in good company with another believer! 😊 Your patio space turned out great, btw. Enjoy your week, Suzanne.
DeleteThank you for hosting and for featuring my summer home tour. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, thoughts for you as you approach Charlie's 4th anniversary of crossing that rainbow bridge. They take a little piece of our hearts with them, don't they? I love those little serendipitous circumstances like you described. Thanks for hosting us as we celebrate summer, albeit quietly. Hopefully the rampant hate will subside with the virus, sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rita! Yes, there is a definite hole where they once were. Enjoy your 'quiet' summer, along with everyone else. Praying for better days for our country and the world. Take care, Suzanne.
DeleteThis is fantastic and I LOVE the Einstein quote! Thanks for sharing.
