Saturday Sparks Link Party 500

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 500!

Starting off today's party with a favorite space and a special announcement.

Gallery Wall at Pieced Pastimes

We enter our home through this long hallway.

I created this gallery wall some time ago using black and white photos with various sized black and wood frames.

A wall full of our favorite people in the world - it's no wonder I smile each time I walk by!

Now, onto the special announcement:

Being that today is the 500th Saturday Sparks,  I thought it would be fun to celebrate this milestone by branching out with the creation of a new monthly link party to be called 'Inspirations'.

I will follow up with more details in a future post, so stay tuned.

"A happy family is but an earlier heaven."

~ George Bernard Shaw

  10. Love your gallery wall Suzanne! I have one too, although not in black in white. Have another in the finished basement hallway I rotate seasonally with "art" my sons created when they were kids. Maybe one day I can cycle in pieces from grandkids too! Congrats on #500! Love this party and all the inspiration and ideas found here. Thanks for hosting and for the occasional featured post too.

    1. Thanks, Debbee! It's so fun that we can personalize a gallery wall in so many ways. Love your idea of showcasing your kids artworks and then perhaps the grandkids. Such a great idea! Grace and Peace, Suzanne.

  11. Suzanne, a return visit to your blog this morning sheds light not only on your gallery wall but that beautiful board and batten accent wall! I just love your minimalism, I really do. Thank you so much for the tablescape feature. I am to say we [barely] missed this week's storm, and it was mostly a rain event for us. I love that quote of a happy family is but an earlier heaven. Looking forward to your reveal of the monthly inspiration. Congratulations on 500 (wow!) Saturday Sparks! Thank you!

    1. Happy to have featured your ever so cozy Valentine tablescape, Rita! Love every detail of it, especially the way you placed the chenille throw. Thanks for your sweet comments about my gallery wall and accent wall. The cold weather finds us spending a lot of time indoors and it has worked to our advantage in getting a lot of things done around the house. Have a wonderful week, Suzanne.
