Saturday Sparks Link Party 411

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 411!

Starting off today's party with the perfect lunch on a cold, wintry day!

Roasted Tomato Soup with Air Fried Potatoes at Pieced Pastimes

Our days of late have been quite frigid.

With those chilly temperatures comes a yearning for warm, comfort food.

Roasted Tomato Soup with Air Fried Seasoned Potatoes ranks high on my list these days.

On a different note, I appreciate all the kind words about our sweet Sophie.

She is doing much better today and for that we are more than thankful.

"Reflect upon your present blessings - of which every man has many - not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some."

~ Charles Dickens

Now, let's get this party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 410.

  1. Suzanne, your comfort food looks amazing. I have yet to get an air fryer, but oh, so tempted. Here's hoping old man winter warms a bit, especially for you guys in the NE getting hammered. I saw hellebore buds and robins gathering in fields here the past couple days, and I'll take every little sign of spring nature offers! We'll be dining at home for Valentine's Day, so it's a Party of Two, Please. Have a great weekend.

    1. Thanks Rita! I hesitated getting the air fryer, but have to say that I use mine all the time now. I'm with you regarding signs of spring. It can't come soon enough this year. How nice that you saw the flower buds and robins - sounds like a sure sign of spring to me! Enjoy your blessings from nature, Suzanne.

  4. Suzanne, I've been tempted go get a combo air fryer and insta-pot. I really don't have the room to store it, so I hesitate...
    Happy weekend

    1. RR - I understand the hesitation. I debated for quite a while, before I caved and bought the air fryer. I must say that I do use it all the time. I keep mine in the pantry, so it's out of sight - which keeps my minimalist side happy. Enjoy your week, Suzanne.

  14. Your soup sounds delicious, Suzanne! I could really use a bowl of it today. We woke up to temperatures of -33C (-27F). It is dang cold out there and hot soup is definitely on the menu today.

    1. Thanks Marie! Your freezing temperatures would stop me in my tracks. There's no going outside in that weather. You wonder how the animals possibly survive in that, but somehow they manage. Stay war and enjoy your soup, Suzanne.
