Saturday Sparks Link Party 434

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 434!

Starting off today's party with our welcoming committee!

Deer on Our Driveway at Pieced Pastimes

We love where we live for many reasons, but one of our favorite things is the wildlife that visit us so frequently.

We pulled into our driveway the other day to see this sweet deer.

She stood there for quite a while, still as a statue.

Her big, beautiful eyes staring all the while as we slowly drove past her.

No matter how often we see them, they still take my breath away.

"Piglet noticed that even though he had a very small heart, it could hold a rather large amount of gratitude."

~ A. A. Milne

Now, let's get this party started.

  1. Good morning, Suzanne. We also enjoy lots of wildlife where we live, with little fawns in abundance. I love your multi-function space. The lockers are an excellent place to organize your fabrics. Thanks so much for hosting and for featuring my Simple + Southern Sunday! Wishing you a lovely weekend.

    1. Thanks, Shelley! August is a beautiful time of year. We had an abundance of rain in July, so the landscapes in this area are rich and luscious - so pretty! All my best, Suzanne.

  3. It's funny, but we see more wildlife at our suburban Atlanta home than we do at our lakeside retreat in the mountains. Thanks for the party!

    1. That is true, Sandra. The development of forested land is causing the wildlife to migrate into more urban areas. It's a delicate balance between us and nature. Take care, Suzanne.

    1. Thanks, Marie! Living in the country has it perks, just as living in a city does. Glad you found our entrance calming and beautiful. It means a lot, Suzanne.
