Saturday Sparks Link Party 506

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 506!

Starting off today's party with another lovely view from NH.

Mountain View in NH at Pieced Pastimes

This image from a couple weeks ago shows Mt. Chocorua standing guard over a snow covered horse corral.

Fast forward to today and the view has changed completely, as a lot of the white stuff is gone.

We are officially in the 'mud' season and that's just fine by me.

The thawing ground tells me that spring is but a page turn away.

"I like to think that to one in symphony with nature, each season, in turn, seems the loveliest."

~ Mark Twain

Now, let's get this party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 505.

  1. What a gorgeous photograph Suzanne! I got a giggle out of what you called "mud season." It's like that here too. Last Saturday 6 inches of snow. By Wednesday we hit a high of 70! Now it's cooler, grey and raining. At least the crocuses are starting to come up.

    1. Thanks, Debbie! The spring thaw has always been known as 'mud season' around here and for good reason. Glad to hear your crocuses are showing signs of life. Stay warm my friend, Suzanne.

  4. It's always interesting to see and hear about how the seasons change differently across the country. Here in Georgia, spring has arrived, the daffodils and crocuses are mostly played out, the camellias are still blooming, and the tulips and cherry trees have started to unfurl their colors. Temps? Well they're all over the place.

    1. Yes, the weather patterns from region to region are so distinct. I suppose that's one of the many things that makes each of our little corners of the world feel like home. Enjoy your spring show, Suzanne.

  7. That's a beautiful photo of the snow-covered fields with the mountains off in the distance. We're already into warm weather down here in coastal Georgia. Everyone is welcoming spring. Even New Hampshire might be seeing a few crocuses pushing up through the snow. Thank you for hosting the link-up.
