Welcome to Saturday Sparks 536!
Starting off today's party with the fall version of our tall maiden grass!
I love a plant that shows off and this ornamental grass never fails me.
It's gorgeous all summer long but, it's this time of year that she truly flaunts her beauty.
Formerly green blades transform to long shades of gold only to be crowned with its glorious silver plumes.
A final show before she settles in for the long upcoming winter.
"Of all the seasons, autumn offers the most to man and requires the least of him."

DeleteThank you for choosing my post as a feature, Suzanne. I'm in great company! Lynne's witch hat chandelier cover intrigued me from the git-go, and those pinwheel cookies are awesome (esp when someone else makes them - a little labor-intensive!). Have a great weekend. Ours promises to be spectacular with a great forecast.
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature you, Rita! Your Apothecary Tablescape turned out wonderful. You captured the spirit of Halloween perfectly with the laboratory items and spooky objects you so carefully placed. Wishing you a beautiful weekend ~ Suzanne.

ReplyDeleteFall always seems to fly be for me, Marie. Our weather has been perfect here and we have been taking full advantage of it. We don't mention the 's' word this time of year, as we are afraid it may jinx us into an early storm. Enjoy your beautiful weather while you can ~ Suzanne.

DeleteThank you so much for hosting Suzanne! The grass is lovely and still so many green trees! My trees in Colorado are fading fast and most have already hit the ground. Freeze warning out for Sunday night. I am just not ready!
ReplyDeleteHappy to host, Denise! It seems like just overnight, our trees bloomed into all the colors of fall and like yours, are now starting to fade. If only we could make it last just a bit longer. Happy Fall ~ Suzanne.
