Welcome to Saturday Sparks 573!
Starting off today's party with a continuing saga!
Guess who's back!
We came home the other day to chewed branches laying on the ground beneath one of our trees.
Our prickly little menace was back on the prowl.
DH grabbed a shovel and swung it like a bat against the tree, trying to intimidate the little guy.
He shimmied his way back down the branch, but stopped and proceeded to glare at DH.
The stare down lasted for 5 minutes or so, before DH gave up and went about his day.
The porcupine may have won this battle, but tomorrow is another day.
"If an animal does something, we call it instinct; if we do the same thing for the same reason, we call it intelligence."

Suzanne, at least we don’t have to battle with porcupines. Great features and thanks for hosting. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky there, Pam! At this point, I just find the whole thing comical. 😄 Happy Summer ~ Suzanne.

Hahaha! Luckily your porcupine is not as big as my troll. That would cause you a lot of trouble! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, that would be a major problem, Moois van mie! 😄 Have a great week ~ Suzanne.

DeleteWow. That is something that I don't ever see in my urban world. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that a few people have mentioned never seeing a porcupine before, Patrick. They seem so commonplace here. Many smiles ~ Suzanne.
DeleteThank you so much for hosting Suzanne, for us it is the racoons and they usually travel in a group of 3-6. Not near as cute as that little porcupine! Hugs- Tanya @twelveOeight
ReplyDeleteHappy to host, Tanya! We have a couple raccoons that show up on our cameras from time to time, but they haven't given us any trouble...yet, anyway! 😊 Hope your little raccoon gang stay in their lane. Happy Summer ~ Suzanne.
