Saturday Sparks Link Party 574

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 574!

Starting off today's party with an 'if you build it, they will come' moment!

As I've mentioned before, our property was a gravel pit in its previous life that we are actively reclaiming.

It's been a true labor of love and it's so rewarding to see how far the property has come.

Recently, DH decided to widen the ridge view.

It seems our curious deer couldn't resist checking out this unfamiliar space.

One by one, they wandered into the newly excavated area.

They stepped ever so cautiously on the freshly turned dirt and nibbled leaves, previously unavailable to them.

The area will be loamed, seeded and hayed eventually and grass will become its new carpet.

I will enjoy the wider view of the ridge but even more so, the wild creatures that will wander through here.

"No matter how few possessions you own or how little money you have, loving wildlife and nature will make you rich beyond measure."

~ Paul Oxton

    1. Happy to feature you, Tanya! DH doesn't consider a salad, a salad if it doesn't have a load of croutons, so your post hit home with me. 😊 Have a great week ~ Suzanne.
