Strawberry Cucumber Smoothie

A fresh from the garden cucumber gave me the perfect excuse to make this smoothie. Not that I needed an excuse, as these are a wonderful way to start the day.

If I had to choose one word to describe this concoction, it would be 'refreshing'. As a bonus, it happens to be equally delicious and healthy.

  2. Sounds really good. I'm not a fan of maple syrup, though, so that's the only thing I'd leave out. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and be well!

    1. Thanks Rita - You could replace the maple syrup with honey, agave or a sweetener of your choice. All the best, Suzanne.

  3. This looks really good! Does the cucumber break down really well in the blender?

    1. Thanks Suchot - The cucumber is so soft that it does break down nicely. I have a high speed blender, but I would think any blender would work. Take care, Suzanne.
