Saturday Sparks Link Party 508

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 508!

Starting off today's party with some frequent fliers!

Canadian Geese in Flight at Pieced Pastimes

This picture may look a bit dreary, but it is special to me.

This flying pair of Canadian Geese showed up here the other day.

They and droves of other wildlife have been coming back to us after a long winter without them.

In the past week, we have seen fox, porcupines, deer, turkeys, bluejays, chickadees, doves and these geese.

It tells me that spring has officially arrived here in NH.

And for this, I am thankful.

  6. Thanks for hosting this week. Canadian geese over-winter here in N Georgia. Some have decided to live here year-round, strolling down the center of the street near the mall.

    1. Happy to host, Sandra! Nice to know the geese found their winter home and some longer, with you. We love seeing them, but know they can be a nuisance for some. Fingers crossed, that hasn't happened for us, as of yet. Have a wonderful week, Suzanne.

  7. Thank you so much for hosting and featuring my spring music room!

    1. Your music room looks lovely in its spring attire, Amber. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you much sunshine, Suzanne.

  8. Suzanne, those signs of spring are a welcome sight. Thank you for hosting and a special thank you for featuring my tablescape, Welcome Spring. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!

    1. Yes they are, Pam! We couldn't be happier to see them all come back to us. Your spring tablescape is perfect. The colors remind me of what we will soon have here. Have a beautiful week my friend, Suzanne.

  9. We have a pair of geese nesting in our back yard & they get so mad when we come outside! Looking forward to seeing the babies. Thanks for hosting the party.

    1. That's funny, Virginia! They can be quite territorial when they are in nesting mode. How wonderful that they have chosen your yard to deliver the babies. Enjoy them! Many smiles, Suzanne.
